Diane joined the UCM staff team as a Campus Missionary Apprentice in 2013. However, her involvement in campus ministry started way back when she was an undergraduate student in ancient times. She first stumbled upon UCM during her third year as a theatre and film student at UBC where she was surrounded by incredible friends and a loving community that invested in her new faith in Christ. Her time at UCM as an undergraduate student was a vital part of her spiritual growth. Through the Christ-centred community on campus, her faith was nurtured, challenged, encouraged and strengthened.
Diane was born in the Philippines and has lived in Manila, Montreal, Victoria, Vancouver and Kansas City. She enjoys the beauty of creation, hiking, travelling, photography, music and the arts, and spending time with her friends and family. If she’s not having coffee (or tea) at the Regent Atrium or JJ Bean, you will most likely find her in her community house, spending time with her housemates, affectionately called “The Tall Pine Collective.” She is very thankful to live in Vancouver and finds it a delight to work alongside such inspiring and passionate students at UCM-UBC.
