THEME & GUEST SPEAKER:

Our guest speaker this year will be Brad Jersak, an author and teacher from Abbotsford. His heart is to share the good news that God is Love and that God's love was shown to us perfectly in Jesus of Nazareth. He teaches that anyone can learn to hear God's voice through the simple practice of "listening prayer."

PAYMENT:

Cost: $70. Please pay the registrar at UCM on Thursdays or arrange to drop it off with one of the staff at the UCM office. If cost is a challenge for you, please share this with our staff and we will do our best to get you to this retreat.

LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION:

Camp Capilano is located in North Vancouver, just north of the suspension bridge. We will be traveling as a group on the public bus. Bring your U-Passes! We will leave by 6pm on Friday. We will load our sleeping bags and pillows in a few cars and carry our backpacks with us on transit (so only pack what you need for the weekend). On Sunday we'll hop on the bus again, leaving the camp by 1pm and returning to UBC around 2:30pm.
