Giving to UCM

University Christian Ministry at UBC is situated on a campus of over 50,000 students, faculty and staff. People come from all over the world to work and study at this University. Statistics show that Vancouver has the least number of people who regularly attend a church in all of North America. The further you travel West, the less churched people are. With UBC situated on the most Western part of our city, UCM is ministering to one of the least evangelized mission fields in North America.

Like many ministry organizations, UCM depends upon the support of individuals and churches in order for us to do the mission God has called us to on the UBC Campus.

HOW DO I SUPPORT UCM?

You can support UCM through prayer and by giving financially toward this ministry. The salaries of our staff and interns depend entirely upon the consistent giving of individuals and churches. Additionally, we are required to raise finances annually for our office and ministry expenses, and each year our student executive prayerfully set a budget for the ministry needs of their student initiatives. Below are three convenient ways you can support UCM:

(1) GIVE ONLINE:

You can make a contribution online by using your credit card. (Note: 5% of your donation will be assumed by your credit card company as a transaction cost for online giving.) >> give online

(2) GIVE BY MAIL:

Cheques can be made out to BCCM (B.C. Campus Ministries) and mailed to the address below. Please mark your designation (see below) in the memo line.

(3) GIVE BY AUTOMATIC WITHDRAWAL:

Many of our supporters choose to give through an automated monthly donation. If you would like to save us the assumed transaction cost of credit card giving, we encourage you to set up an automatic withdrawal direct from your chequing account. Simply:

  • send a VOIDED cheque to the address above with the amount you would like donated each month;
  • mark whether you would like the transaction made on the 1st or the 15th of the month;
  • indicate in the memo line where you would like to designate your financial support (see below).
